Al Diar Hotels & Etihad Airways launch joint summer promotion
Offer to add more excitement to Abu Dhabi’s summer festivities

Abu Dhabi, 6th July 2008: Al Diar Hotels, owned and managed by Abu Dhabi National Hotels (ADNH) has announced a joint summer promotion with Etihad Airways to offer hotel guests a chance to win free roundtrip tickets to a number of worldwide destinations.

From 6th July to 31st August 2008, all guests checking in at any property of the Al Diar Hotels will be automatically entered into a daily raffle draw to win Etihad Airways tickets to 43 destinations across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. They will also benefit from special summer discounts of 50 percent off normal room tariffs.

The promotion will run at all Al Diar Hotels in the UAE including the Al Diar Sands, Al Diar Capital, Al Diar Dana, Al Diar Mina, Al Diar Regency and Al Diar Palm (all in Abu DhabiAl Diar Siji in Fujairah and Oryx Hotel in Abu.

Noting that this is the fifth consecutive year that Al Diar is teaming up with Etihad Airways, Khalfan Al Shamsi, Marketing & PR Manager of ADNH, said: “We are very privileged and proud to be associated with the national carrier of the UAE. Our promotion is very timely given the other festivities happening in Abu Dhabi during the summer months, which help promote Abu Dhabi as a destination for leisure, tourism and even business.”

“The summer promotion with Etihad Airways has been running very successfully since they were first launched in 2004. In fact, during the summer promotion last year, Al Diar posted a 30 percent increase in room occupancy and we expect good response from our guests this year as well,” he added.

Al Shamsi also pointed out that winners in this year’s promotion would get an opportunity to choose a destination from among 43 cities that are connected via the Etihad Airways network.
